Freightliner Trucks Invites Drivers to Make Pit Stop at the AAA Texas 500

FORT WORTH, Texas – Oct. 22, 2014 – Freightliner Trucks, the Official Hauler of NASCAR®, is hosting its second Freightliner Trucks’ Run Smart Pit Stop at the AAA Texas 500 at Texas Motor Speedway in Fort Worth, Texas, Oct. 31 – Nov. 2, 2014. The event will offer special amenities, prizes and entertainment for truck drivers. The first Run Smart Pit Stop event was held earlier this year in Kentucky.

The Run Smart Pit Stop will provide truckers-only parking at the racetrack with easy in-and-out access. For maximum convenience, drivers do not need to drop their trailers and can stay for up to three full days to enjoy the race weekend. Following preregistration atfreightlinerpitstop.com, drivers can simply pull in and park at areas that will be designated on race weekend.

Activities at the Run Smart Pit Stop – such as tailgating, giveaways, prizes and games – will bring the excitement of the track directly to truck drivers. Team Run Smart Pro drivers, along with Miss Sprint Cup, are scheduled to make appearances at the Run Smart Pit Stop. Select Team Freightliner NASCAR Sprint Cup Series™ drivers will also be on hand for a special Q&A session. The Alliance Pit Stop and Detroit Experience tour trailers will be on site with additional amenities.
