Drury Hotels Breaks Ground in Independence, Missouri

(ST. LOUIS, MO) – May 17, 2010 – Drury Hotels recently broke ground on a new hotel in Independence, Missouri. Scheduled to open in the summer of 2011, the hotel will be Drury’s first in Independence and sixth in the Kansas City metro area.

A Missouri-based company, Drury Hotels is preparing the foundation of the new hotel, which will feature a brand new exterior design. Inside the 180-room Drury Inn & Suites, guests can expect the same award-winning Drury comfort, service and amenity package along with ample meeting space, accommodating groups from 3 to 250 people.
All guests will enjoy the brand’s signature free Hot Breakfast. Served in the hotel’s expansive seating area, Drury’s breakfast features scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits & gravy, Belgian waffles and more.
