Drury Hotels Opens New Hotel in Valdosta, Georgia

ST. LOUIS (Dec. 18, 2012): Drury Hotels Company today announced the opening of a new Drury Inn & Suites property in Valdosta, Ga. The new hotel features 180 rooms and more than 3,000 square feet of flexible meeting space.

“We are proud to open our new Valdosta hotel; it represents an important part of our expansion into the Southeast.” said Chuck Drury, president and chief executive officer of Drury Hotels Company. “The hotel is located just off I-75, so it will be an ideal stop for our guests traveling south during cold winter months.”

The Valdosta hotel is located at 1327 North St. Augustine Road, near the corner of I-75 and St. Augustine Rd. The property will cater to guests visiting Moody Air Force Base, Valdosta State University and travelers heading south during winter months. This is Drury Hotels’ fifth property in Georgia.

Guests will enjoy many amenities, including the brand’s signature free Hot Breakfast. Served in the hotel’s expansive seating area, Drury’s breakfast features scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits & gravy, Belgian waffles and more.
