Ten Complimentary Events and Experiences Offer Unique Cultural and Culinary Adventures Around the Globe
MIAMI, June 15, 2010 — Guests sailing around the world aboard the new Seabourn Sojourn can look forward to an exciting selection of exclusive shoreside events and experiences along the way. The intimate, all-suite yacht will depart on its world cruise from Los Angeles on January 5, 2011, visiting 46 ports during a 111-day voyage that ends in London on April 27, 2011.
Guests sailing 99 to 111 days during the Sojourn world cruise will enjoy five complimentary Full World Cruise Events, offering unique, specially created experiences during their global journey. In addition, five exclusive complimentary shore experiences will be offered to all guests on board, including those sailing on shorter segments.

Full world cruise guests will be offered the following exclusive events:
South Seas Spectacular – Papeete, Tahiti; Jan. 15, 2011. Guests will enjoy a magical evening of cultural performances and dinner capturing the essence of the South Seas. Arriving guests will receive a rousing welcome from Polynesian warriors, followed by cocktails and a delicious, traditional feast. The grand finale is an enchanting performance of South Pacific song and dance performed outdoors under a canopy of stars.
Evening of Cultural Delights and Dinner at Werribee Park Mansion – Melbourne, Australia; February 8, 2011. Werribee Mansion is a magnificent Italianate-style mansion evoking 19th century Australia and recreating the opulence and success of early Australian pastoralists. Guests will explore the mansion’s original interior décor and take in sweeping views of the formal gardens of Werribee Park from the balcony. The evening includes a three-course dinner and an exclusive performance by one of Australia’s best opera singers and the Melbourne Children’s Choir.
Sky High Reception on the Singapore Flyer – Singapore, March 12, 2011. One of the world’s most dynamic cities, Singapore is a harmonious blend of cultures, cuisines, arts and architecture. Seabourn guests will survey it all from a stunning height of 541 feet on the world’s largest Giant Observation Wheel, providing a breathtaking, 360-degree view of the city-state’s iconic and historical landmarks, from Marina Bay to Raffles Place and the Padang.
Arabian Nights Adventure – Dubai, UAE, March 26, 2011. Leaving the towers of Dubai behind, guests will cross the timeless dunes of the desert to discover an opulent desert encampment, with a traditional souk containing exotic spices, dried nuts and a variety of earthenware, as well as an Arabic Majlis, where women can have traditional henna designs applied to their hands and feet. The Arabian night is complete with a “shisha” corner (famous Arabic water pipe), and camels for those who interested in a short encounter with the “ship of the desert.”
Dinner at Historic Chateau Kirwan – Bordeaux, France, April 23, 2011. A visit to a winery is a must during any visit to Bordeaux. The event begins with a drive through the Medoc vineyards to one of the region’s most historic wineries and chateau. After a guided tour of the chateau’s extensive cellars and an aperitif-tasting of two wines from the estate, guests will enjoy a delicious gourmet dinner in the sublime surroundings of the chateau.
All guests onboard during any part of the world cruise can partake in any of the five exclusive complimentary shore experiences, which will include:

a savory introduction to authentic, delicious local cuisine in Kerala, India;
an enchanting afternoon of tea and traditional music at a Bedouin camp in the mountainous Sinai desert at Sharm el Sheikh, Egypt.
