GEICO expands Renton office; will add 200 new associates
RENTON, Wash., Jan. 13, 2015 – GEICO has a variety of new opportunities brewing in the Greater Seattle area. The company announced today it will substantially expand its claims operation in Renton, adding 200 associates during the next 18 months due to the company’s continuing growth.
GEICO is now recruiting for its accelerated Management Development Program and for several claims positions.
GEICO’s Management Development Program offers more than two years of specialized training. Complete training is also provided for liability claims representatives and claims service representatives. Claims associates provide GEICO’s customers with information and education throughout the claims process from start to finish.

Mike Quesada, who heads GEICO’s Renton office, said that currently, with more than 400,000 GEICO insured vehicles in the state, there is a clear opportunity to expand. “Now, we are no doubt well-positioned to handle increased volumes of claims as we continue to gain market share in Washington,” Quesada said.
