Leonardo Automates Hotel Image Distribution for Hotusa Hotels’ 2,700 Hotels Globally
Leonardo’s Robust Hotel Image Distribution Technology Ensures Images for Hotusa Hotels are Presented Accurately on GDSs and Travel Websites
Toronto, CANADA and Barcelona – September 7th, 2016 – Leonardo Worldwide’s image distribution technology has been adopted by Hotusa Hotels, a global provider of sales, marketing and distribution technologies and services to over 2,700 independent hotels across 50 countries.
Hotusa Hotels, part of Spain based tourism company Grupo Hotusa, has a strong reputation for robust connectivity and representation of its hotels (HA and KY chain codes) on Amadeus, Sabre, Worldspan and Galileo GDSs. As consumer demands for large quantities of high quality hotel images on online channels continue to increase, Hotusa required a strong technology provider to ensure seamless, accurate and consistent delivery of its hotel images to the GDSs.
“We knew that in order to stay competitive on a global scale we would need a reputable technology partner with longstanding relationships with the GDSs to power the distribution of hotel images and integrate their technology with our existing systems. Leonardo’s technology meets these requirements and is the best on the market,” says Laura Gonzalez, GDS Director, Hotusa Hotels.
Using advanced XML connectivity based on Open Travel Alliance (OTA) and Hotel Technology Next Generation (HTNG) standards, Hotusa Hotels will use a direct connection to Leonardo’s VScape Digital Asset Management System from its internal Content Management System (CMS) to automate the versioning and delivery of images for its hotels to the GDSs.
“Selecting Leonardo’s technology to distribute hotel images for their hotels to the GDSs and integrating our technology with their CMS will save Hotusa Hotels a significant amount of time and money while increasing accuracy and consistency of hotel images across online channels,” says John McAuliffe, President, Leonardo Worldwide.
